Is Cocosenor Duplicate Tuner safe?
Cocosenor Duplicate Tuner is absolutely safe to use, it does not invade your personal data and won't bundle any extraneous software during the installation process.
Can I skip specific folder from scanning process?
Yes. Cocosenor Duplicate Tuner provides an option "Choose the folder to exclude" and you can add the folder you want to skip under the exclude section.
Will duplicate files in hidden folders be detected?
Yes. Cocosenor Duplicate Tuner can find and remove duplicate files even in hidden folders. In case you don't want to scan files in hidden folders, you can uncheck the "Skip hidden files and directories" option in Settings before starting scanning.
Can I check the duplicate files before deletion?
Yes. A list of duplicate files will be displayed with location path, names, file extensions, size, date created and date modified. You can compare the details and determine whether to delete the files.
Is it possible to sort the duplicates by category?
Yes. There are seven file type options available in the preview list, allowing you to sort the duplicates by different types.
Is it possible to undo the deletion?
No. If you delete the duplicate files, they will be permanently removed from your computer. This software performs delete command without storing the files in another location. In other words, it is impossible to restore them from Recycle bin. Take extra attention when you delete the files. If the files and their copies are both selected to be deleted, you shall be asked for confirmation.
